Home tour: O amenajare de designer cu idei de copiat | A Designer Home Full of Inspiring Ideas

N-am mai fost demult intr-un home tour, dar astazi va duc intr-o casa plina de idei inspirate, creative si - cel mai grozav - usor de pus in practica chiar si de non-designeri (ca mine). Imi place foarte mult stilul Emmei Persson Lagerberg, asa ca mi-a fost greu sa aleg un singur proiect de pe blogul ei, dar cum ziceam, mi-a placut acest interior din mai multe motive:

1. noptiera din cutii albe de pantofi este absolut adorabila, nu mai vorbesc de margelele aruncate neglijent deasupra... 

 

It's been a while since our last home tour but today we're visiting a house full of inspiring and creative ideas which are also easy to be applied even by non-designers (like myself). I love the style of Emma Persson Lagerberg so much that I found it difficult to choose a single project from her blog, but I liked this particular interior for many more reasons:

1. the bedside table made of white shoe boxes is absolutely adorable, not to mention the pearl chain negligently thrown on top...

 

 

2. teancurile de reviste folosite ca suport pentru postere.

3. haine vintage folosite ca decor.

 

3. vintage clothes used as decor.

 

4. scaune cu design diferit: vintage, diy, modern.

5. spatiul de lucru integrat in dressing (in paranteza fie spus, imi doresc ca odata, candva, sa am si eu un dressing in care toate hainele sa stea fiecare pe umerasul lor...).

 

5. the work space integrated in the dressing room (by the way, my dream in terms of dressing rooms is to have all my cloths hanged each on a different hanger...).

Focus pe culori: 5 terase roz | Focus on Colours: 5 Terraces in Pink

In weekendul care a trecut, am facut un mic "refresh" la balconul meu. O sa va arat ce si cum cat de curand, dar pana atunci va arat alte 5 amenajari de terase si balcoane, cu roz. De la roz pastel la fuchsia si de la mici accesorii la intreaga tencuiala.

Eu, una, nu pot spune care-mi place mai mult, fiecare cu farmecul ei. Pe voi care va inspira?

This weekend I refreshed my balcony a little. I'll tell you all about it in a short while but until then, here are 5 other arrangements of balconies and terraces, in pink. From light pink to fuchsia, from little accessories to entire wall painted in pink.

I cannot say which is my favorite, each one has its charm. Which is your inspiration?

Un desert colorat | Colourful Dessert

Stiti vorba aia cu planetele care trebuie sa se alinieze pentru ca lucrurile speciale sa se intample... Pentru ca toata saptamana trecuta planetele s-au aliniat in asa fel incat am gatit cat pentru un an intreg, duminica dimineata a venit si cireasa de pe tort sau afina de pe budinca. In cazul meu, dorinta de a-i face fetiteti mele o budinca de orez cu fructe de padure s-a aliniat cu intamplarea de a avea toate ingredientele necesare si un set de forme de cupcakes, ultra colorat, care se cerea inaugurat.

You know that saying about the planets which need to line up for something special to \happen... Because last week they all lined up so I cooked enough for a whole year, on Sunday morning there came the cherry on top of the cake or the blackberry on top of the rice pudding. In my case: my desire to prepare for my little girl a forest fruit rice pudding lined up with me having all the necessary ingredients plus a set of cupcake forms that needed to be inaugurated.

Ce s-a intamplat pe scurt: am pus jumatate de cana de orez la fiert in 3 cani de lapte cu 3 linguri de zahar. Dupa vreo 25 de minute, l-am luat de pe foc si l-am pus la racit. In timpul asta, fructele de padure (eu le-am avut congelate) le-am pus intr-o tigaie cu o lingura de zahar brun si le-am lasat sa scada pana au capatat consistenta unei dulceti, adica asa...

What happened in brief: I boiled half a cup of rice in 3 cups of milk with 3 tablespoons of sugar. After approximately 25 minutes, I left it aside to cool down and, in the meantime, I fried the frozen forest fruits with a spoonful of brown sugar until they looked like below...

La final, am turnat budinca in forme si am adaugat amestecul de fructe in diverse combinatii. Tzac-pac! Este atat de simplu, incat si mie mi-a iesit din prima. Si a fost ultra delicios. Cat despre aspect, nu stiu ce sa zic, pentru ca fetita mea, cand a vazut fructele din budinca, a decretat ca sunt cah! si n-a vrut nici macar sa guste...:)
Bine, ea are doar 3 ani, asa ca nu va luati dupa ea. :) Asadar, pofta mare!

At the end I pourred the pudding into the cupcake forms and added the fruits in various combinations! Easy as that! So easy that even I got it right from the first time. And it was super delicious. I don't know what to say about the looks, because my girl, when she saw the fruits, said that was yuck! and didn't even want to taste it...:) 

Well, she's only 3 so what does she know...?:) So enjoy it!

Decor pentru starea mea de luni | My Monday Mood Design

 

M-am tot gandit cu ce sa incepem saptamana noastra "colorata" si am gasit aceasta amenajare de living care reflecta perfect starea mea de luni (observati, sper, contrastul cu postarea de ieri): un haos organizat de culori, texturi si imprimeuri.

Sunt 5 lucruri care imi plac grozav in aceasta amenajare:

1. evident, cainele :) Asortat si el, in felul lui, cu tabloul negru cu pete albe.

2. tabloul negru

3. fotoliul mov

4. alaturarea celor 3 covoare identice

5. butoiul folosit pe post de ghiveci

 

Voua ce va place (daca va place ceva) din acest designul acestui living?

 

I've been thinking how to start our "colourful" wieek and I found this living room design which perfectly states my Monday mood (notice the contrast with my Sunday post): an organized chaos of colours, textures and prints.

There are 5 things I like in particular about this decor:

1. the dog, obviously :) Matching the black painting with white spots.

2. the black painting

3. the purple chair

4. the 3 identical carpets put together

5. the barrel used as a flower pot.

Weekend Inspiration

 

Am din nou un weekend de tipul "sa le fac pe toate azi". Multa treaba, agitatie si alergatura, asa ca probabil incerc sa compensez aici. 

Iata o idee de amenajare care ilustreaza, cel mai aproape de viziunea mea, un weekend relaxat: un living in culori si materiale naturale, plante decorative si un hamac foarte imbietor, asezat la aer curat, pe balcon.

Un weekend relaxat va doresc tuturor!

 

This is one of those "do-it-all-in-one-day" weekends. A lot of things to and so little time so I'm trying to compensate here.

Here is a design idea that best ilustrates my 3 idea of a relaxed weekend at home: living room in natural colours and fabrics, decorative plants and a fabulous hammock, on the balcony.

Cand am citit despre culori in marketing, adica despre "culori"si "marketing" in aceeasi expresie, mi s-au aprins instant beculetele.

Stiu ca toti intuim care este semnificatia culorilor si impactul lor asupra noastra, dar am tinut sa va arat si voua acest infografic pentru ca mi s-a parut foarte sugestiv. In plus, contine cateva informatii interesante. De exemplu, nu stiam ca albastrul este cea mai apreciata culoare si nici ca movul apare pe numai doua steaguri din intreaga lume. 

Voua cum va place, ce-ati aflat nou?

When I read about colours in marketing, that is about colours and marketing in the same expression my level of attention increased rapidly.

We all  have a feeling of what colours mean and which is their effect on people but I really wanted to share this infographic with you because it contains some interesting data. For instance, I didn't know that blue is the #1 favourite colour of all people or that purple is contained in only two flags.
